Brand-Rex's Blolite Air Blown Fiber

Blolite has numerous advantages over conventional fibre cable, especially in large networks:

• Deferred cost
• Installing Blolite Microduct and blowing fibre to meet initial demands (25% of the eventual total according to surveys) can cut first-year costs by up to 65% when compared with conventional fibre cable.
• Ease of upgrade with no disruption
• Fibre is blown in to the infrastructure with no disruption to the environment or staff, an impossibility when adding new conventional cable.
• Change or add new fibres
• Backbone links over 200 metres will need single-mode fibre to handle Gigabit backbone LANs. The simplest way to do this is to blow single-mode fibre into Blolite microducts as and when needed.   *Install spare capacity to allow for this or simply blow out any redundant fibres using compressed air.
